In 1985 the world changed in a very small way for one family. Unto them was bestowed the little bundle of joy that would one day become the artist, writer, amateur piano player and film lover known as E-yam (Because no toddler she has ever met can say her name). The early years gave small clues to what their child wouls become, for when she wasn't sitting in the shade of her garden tree with her nose stuck in books that were supposed to be beyond her capabilities to read, she was drawing the myrriad bugs that she would find amongst her mothers carefully weeded borders.

The years were spent on the Welsh coast, or in the local farmers' fields. Eventually, the little bundle of joy grew and became an adult. At least, physically she did. Her mind retained it's immaturity (a fact that is of some pride), and she left school, bummed about in random jobs that couldn't keep her from creating people and worlds in her head, and finally went to college. Four years later, she had a degree under her belt and to this day, doesn't know whether to frame the certificate... or turn it into the most expensive paper aeroplane ever!

And thus concludes the epic life so far of this person. What follows is a list of information that only a stalker would want to know... The nice kind of stalker that is. Not the crazy kind that steals knickers. That's just wrong...

Literary Influences: Terry Pratchett, China Mielleville, Robin Jarvis, Darren Shan, Robin Hobb, Lovecraft, Mervin Peake.

Film Influences: Tim Burton, Joel Schumacker, Peter Jackson, Johnny Depp (who is totally hot, even if he was in a pink tutu!), Anthony Hopkins, Alan Rickman, Segourny Weaver.

Musical Influences: Beethoven, Mozart, Pink, Classical Music, and random artists/songs from all genres.
